• The live-action adaptation of the anime series "Cells at Work!" has announced nine additional cast members. The new cast members include Masato Hagiwara, Kōji Ohkura, Shōta Sometani, Yūko Ōshima, Akira Emoto, Mitsuru Fukikoshi, Honami Suzuki, Yūki Kaji, and Daisuke Ono.

• The film will feature the human characters from the original anime series, which follows the activities of various personified cells within the human body. The new cast members will portray various types of cells, including red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets.

• The live-action "Cells at Work!" film is directed by Isao Yukisada and is set to premiere in Japan in 2024. The film is based on the popular manga series of the same name, which has also been adapted into an anime television series.
