• Sony and developer Team Ninja have announced a free demo for their upcoming open-world action game, Rise of the Ronin, exclusively for the PlayStation 5. The demo will allow players to explore a small portion of the game's vast open world and get a taste of the combat and exploration mechanics.

• Rise of the Ronin is set in late 19th century Japan during a tumultuous period known as the Bakumatsu, a time of political upheaval and the end of the Shogunate. Players will take on the role of a customizable ronin (masterless samurai) and navigate the complex social and political landscape as they uncover the truth behind the events unfolding.

• The game promises a deep and immersive open-world experience, with a focus on player choice and the ability to approach situations in multiple ways.
