• The "Head in the Clouds" festival, organized by the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community, was held in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, Queens, on June 25th. The festival celebrated the diversity and vibrant culture of the AAPI community, featuring a lineup of musical performances, art exhibits, and food vendors showcasing a range of Asian cuisines.

• The event was a collaborative effort between various AAPI organizations, including the Asian American Federation, the Korean American Association of Greater New York, and the Chinese-American Planning Council. The festival aimed to promote unity, understanding, and appreciation for the AAPI community, particularly in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has seen a rise in anti-Asian hate crimes.

• Attendees enjoyed a variety of musical acts, including K-pop, J-pop, and Chinese pop performances, as well as traditional dance showcases. The festival also featured an art exhibition highlighting the work of AAPI artists, and a diverse selection of food trucks and vendors offering a wide range of Asian-inspired dishes, from bubble tea to Korean barbecue.
