• Manga artist Gou Tanabe is launching a new manga series based on the character Randolph Carter, a recurring protagonist in H.P. Lovecraft's stories. The manga, titled "Randolph Carter: The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath," will debut in the June 2023 issue of Monthly G Fantasy magazine.

• The manga will adapt Lovecraft's 1927 novella "The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath," which follows Carter's journey through the dream realm in search of the mysterious and elusive city of Kadath. This will be Tanabe's second manga adaptation of Lovecraft's work, following his previous adaptation of "At the Mountains of Madness."

• Tanabe is known for his adaptations of classic horror and science fiction literature, including works by Lovecraft, Jules Verne, and Edgar Allan Poe. His manga adaptations are praised for their atmospheric artwork and faithful interpretations of the original stories.
