Following a massive and lengthy development cycle, Baldur’s Gate 3 was finally released on August 3rd, 2023 on PC, and September 6th, 2023 on PlayStation 5. In a series of statements released by Larian Studios, it was revealed that Baldur’s Gate 3’s Xbox development was hampered by technical issues on the Xbox Series S – the ‘weaker’ Xbox console on the market at the moment. Baldur’s Gate 3 basically is Game of the Year already for most outlets
