German artist Boris Eldagsen's entry, entitled Pseudomnesia: The Electrician, won the creative open category at last week's Sony World Photography Award. Eldagsen told the BBC on Monday he had made it clear to the organisers that he too wanted to publicly engage in a "open discussion" on the topic, from much earlier on in the awards process, but that this had come to no avail.
