Study reveals 1 in 4 children apps on the Google Play Store violate privacy rules

Comparitech studied a total of 402 apps that appeared on the Google Play tab for Children and assessed whether they complied with the ICO’s age-appropriate design code. The ICO can impose fines of up to 4% of global turnover or £17 million (whichever is higher) for serious breaches of its code
