Polish scientists in cooperation with Lithuanian and Belarussian specialists have developed a super effective battery which will be ready for use in mobile phones soon.Dr Maciej Kawecki, the technology expert, claims that the thin-film lithium-ion battery is a revolutionary development.The battery is fully operational between minus 40 degrees and 170 degrees Celsius,” Kawecki explained.Thanks to the utilisation of modern technology its production cost is even up to 150 times lower than the cheapest alternative technology available at the moment.The producer explains that it has “developed and patented a cost-effective and scalable approach to create a thin film battery using vacuum evaporation enhanced by high-density plasma."
