Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda is visiting Ukraine on Wednesday, Yaroslav Viznyak, Lithuania’s honorary consul in Ternopil, confirmed to LRT.“The second Lublin Triangle summit reaffirmed the importance of the centuries-long strategic partnership between Lithuania, Poland and Ukraine and the unwavering commitment of Lithuania and Poland to provide Ukraine with all assistance to defend itself against Russian military aggression,” the Lithuanian president’s office said in a press release.“In the run-up to the NATO summit in Vilnius, we agreed with President Zelensky and President Duda to focus our efforts on advancing Ukraine’s further Euro-Atlantic integration aspirations,” said Nausėda.“Membership of the European Union and NATO are national strategic objectives, enshrined in Ukraine’s constitution which Ukrainians today defend with arms in hand.Lithuania & Poland will continue providing defense assistance to Ukraine."
