Zhilin managed to send his wife and children to Kazakhstan after Russian President Vladimir Putin in September announced a partial mobilization to beef up Russia’s armed forces fighting in Ukraine.Yevgeny Zhovtis, director of the Kazakhstan International Bureau for Human Rights and Rule of Law (KMBPCh), confirmed that Zhilin was being deported.It will hurt Kazakhstan’s image “very hard,” Zhovtis said, but Kazakh authorities apparently “believe that the conflict with Russia is much more serious.” Zhilin was a shift supervisor in the special communications and information department of the FSB in the Siberian Federal District and was responsible for Putin's communications with the regions.The debt for gas supply will be considered repaid after the funds of the foreign buyer have been credited to an authorized bank where a special account has been opened for the purpose of receiving the payments.Putin signed the decree on payments for Russian natural gas in March, forcing "unfriendly" European customers to open ruble bank accounts with Gazprombank and pay in rubles if they wanted to continue receiving Russian gas."
