Russians are fleeing occupied Kreminna in Luhansk Oblast, says regional governorSerhiy Hayday spoke about the situation in Kreminna (Photo:Підслухано Кремінна/Facebook)Russian nationals are fleeing the occupied town of Kreminna in Luhansk Oblast, including military personnel, Luhansk Oblast governor Serhiy Hayday reported on Telegram on Dec. 28.“All Russians who came here to work — civilians, medics, or some kind of repair crews — have already cut their work short and returned to the Russian Federation.Work that had been started is now frozen.”The governor added that following Kreminna’s liberation, “the turn of other towns in Luhansk will come, because they’ve been ruined to such an extent that they are indefensible.”There are two paths the Ukrainian military can take after freeing Kreminna: either to head to Starobilsk, or to Rubizhne and Severodonetsk.The second option will split Russian forces and help with the defense of Bakhmut, the governor added.Earlier, Hayday said that Russian forces are afraid of losing Kreminna, so they have built massive fortifications and pulled a great number of reserves there."
