The resolution declaring Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism was supported by the vast majority of members of the House of Representatives.Minister of Foreign Affairs Wopke Hoekstra noted that the designation of Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism does not provide for any consequences in the legislation of the country.However, the decision should be seen as an expression of support for Ukraine, he said.The targets of attacks are residential buildings, hospitals, and civilian energy, water and heating infrastructure.A number of European parliaments have already individually recognized the Kremlin regime as a terrorist one."
