An Iranian court has sentenced a young Kurdish woman to 15 years in prison for holding a paper with Mahsa Amini's name written on it.Yousefzadeh, who is being held in Qarchak prison, near the capital, was tried at Branch 15 of the Revolutionary Court.Iran has been gripped by a wave of protests since the September death of Amini, a 22-year-old Kurdish woman, in the custody of Tehran’s morality police.The unrest triggered a heavy-handed crackdown by security forces in which more than 340 people were killed, including dozens of children.The protest movement, which is demanding more freedoms and women's rights, has grown to become the biggest threat to the clerical regime since the 1979 Islamic Revolution."
