Russian forces receive orders to suspend offensive operations on several fronts – General Staff report

Source: General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, information as of 06:00 on 13 OctoberDetails: The General Staff explained that low morale among the recently arrived reinforcements, numerous acts of desertion by the recently conscripted soldiers, and refusal to carry out orders are among the reasons for the decision to suspend offensive operations.More than 40 cities, towns and villages came under Russian fire, including Mykolaiv, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, Cherniakhov, Bilohorivka, Spirne, Pavlivka, Myrne and Davydiv Brid.On other fronts, the Russians continued to fire on military and civilian targets:- On the Sivershchyna front: Russian forces deployed mortars and tubed artillery to fire on areas in and around Myropillia, Seredyna-Buda, Stukalivka and Pavlivka;- On the Slobozhanshchyna front: the Russians used various types of artillery to fire on areas in and around Buhruvatka, Hrianivka, Strilecha, Dvorichna, Nova Vovcha, Udy and Chervona Zoria;- On the Kramatorsk front: the Russians used tank guns, mortars and tubed and rocket artillery to fire along the entire line of contact, in particular on the areas in the vicinity of Bilohorivka, Zarichne, Novoyehorivka, Serebrianka, Spirne, Terny, Torske and Yampolivka;- On the Bakhmut front: Russian forces deployed tanks and artillery of various calibres to fire along the entire line of contact.In particular, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Zelenopillia, Soledar, Maiorsk, New-York and Yakovlivka came under Russian fire;- On the Avdiivka front: the Russians fired on areas in and around Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Nevelske and Pervomaiske using tank guns, mortars and tubed and rocket artillery;- On the Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia fronts: 15 Ukrainian towns and villages came under Russian fire, including Bohoiavlenivka, Vremivka, Zaliznychne, Mykilske, Novopil, Novosilka and Poltavka;- On the Pivdennyi Buh front, Russian forces fired on areas in and around more than 20 towns and villages situated along the contact line.The General Staff additionally reported that up to 30 damaged armoured vehicles arrive for repairs at a Russian repair workshop near Kalanchak in Kherson Oblast every day."
