Finland will send an additional defence materiel package to Ukraine to assist the country in its defence against Russia's invasion, the Ministry of Defence announced in a press release on Thursday.The package is the ninth such delivery Finland has provided to Ukraine since Russia's invasion on 24 February.A defence ministry statement added that, in order to guarantee the safe delivery of the package, no further information would be provided about the contents, method of delivery or schedule.When preparing the latest donation, the ministry took into account both the needs of Ukraine and the resources required by Finland's own Defence Forces.President Sauli Niinistö signed off on the decision to send the package, based on the government's proposal."
